Jeanmarie Aleski is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Florida. She earned her Master’s Degree from Florida Gulf Coast University in 2011, where she was later certified as a Field Instructor and Adjunct Faculty Liaison in the discipline. Ms. Aleski has received a Florida Field Consortium Core Competency Certification, as well as Florida Coalition Against Domestic Violence Core Competency Certification and Florida Council Against Sexual Violence Advocacy Core Competency Certification. She is a proud member of the National Association of Social Workers (NASW).
Her clinical experience includes providing psychotherapy to adults and adolescents during individual, couple, and family sessions. Ms. Aleski has provided therapeutic services in various settings including Outpatient, Intensive Outpatient, and Partial Hospitalization treatment programs.
Her primary therapeutic focuses include overcoming trauma/abuse, gender, sexuality, anxiety, depression, relationship problems, personality disorders, adjustments, emotion regulation, self-esteem, stress reduction, and grief.
Ms. Aleski utilizes an eclectic therapeutic approach, frequently calling upon Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy, and Solution-focused Therapy interventions, as well as integrating mindfulness practices.
